We started with the Picnic season at Fattoria La Maliosa. On Thursday June the 18th, during the International Picnic Day, we had some guests at Podere Santa Francesca and through our vineyards, who were able to enjoy the beauty of the Maremma landscape and a picnic with the best of local products.
A sunny day that started in the morning with a guided tour from Podere Santa Francesca to the Monte Cavallo vineyard, going through the fields and our vineyards.
Going back to Podere Santa Francesca the guests, under the large oak tree, enjoyed their picnic, with baskets that had been prepared, tasting our products served with local salami and cheeses. Honey accompanied the cheese tastings and the wines La Maliosa Saturnia rosso and La Maliosa Saturnia bianco completed the lunch. A really relaxing moment, outdoors.
At the end of the Picnic, with some guests, we got to La Stellata stream, through the woods. An ideal day and an ideal path for everyone, even for families with children, who found that very fun.
