The exceptional quality of the 2020 harvest, highlighted by the standard of the EVOOs produced, was confirmed by the numerous awards and recognitions received by competitions and guides in 2021, in particular for our Leccio del Corno monocultivar cru La Maliosa Caletra.

The many awards consisitently achieved over time are for us synonymous with high quality production, 2021 was no exception and we proudly mention here the most prestigious awards received during the year.

In the same competition this oil was also rated the best new olive oil in Tuscany, in the special ranking dedicated to the areas of origin, which saw the participation of over 200 producers from all over the world.

The focus on the sustainability of olive groves and oil production also determined the inclusion with merit in the Terre D’Olio 2021 Guide of the Oil Master Fausto Borella.

The olive production of Fattoria La Maliosa is followed by the agronomist Walter Luigi Antonelli, together with the owner Antonella Manuli, and is based on the principles of the Metodo CorinoTM, adopted for all agricultural productions, which favors the vitality of the soils and the healthiness of the environment. At La Maliosa we only produce certified organic premium extra virgin olive oils: two monocultivars, La Maliosa Caletra respectively from Leccio del Corno and Leccino, and the Tuscan blend La Maliosa Aurinia.
